We found some pics (among the millions) on Susie’s computer of my wedding day. Now, I don’t like to brag, but I had THE MOST GORGEOUS flower girl and THE MOST HANDSOME ring bearer in the history of flower girls and ring bearers! Looking at these pics, I was flooded with wonderful memories of my ViVi and Thomas. One in particular brought a smile to my face and tears to my eyes.

Seconds before ViVi was to walk down the aisle, she tripped over her dress and fell flat on her cute little tush! Poor little thing was crying so much, that she needed her daddy to help her down the aisle. Always the best daddy in the world, Tommy took her precious hand in his and walked along side her. Well, during all this, ViVi forgot to throw the flower petals as she was making her way down the aisle. Taking her duties as flower girl very seriously, ViVi came up with a new way of doing things!! During the entire ceremony, she stood behind me gently placing pink and white rose petals all over the train of my dress. At one point I could hear Sue whisper to her to stop. I turned around and snapped at Susie to “leave her alone – ViVi can do whatever she wants!” All the while, Thomas looked so handsome in his guayabera. He melted my heart…as he always did with that smile of his.

I am so honored that they were a part of this day and a part of my life. I know somewhere ViVi is sprinkling rose petals and Thomas is smiling that heartwarming smile of his. Miss you more than you could ever know my nutty buddies. My heart is broken.
