I just realized I started this blog for Luca, but lately it’s been more about pasta and pigs than him So, here is your weekly luca update (Not sure who “your” is…it could be just my mom following this). Little Luca had his 2 month well check this week. All went well with my gigantic baby. He weighed in at 15 pounds (off the charts!) and 24 inches. He got his shots, which were way worse for me than for him. He just yelled out and looked at the nurse like “what the hell woman!?” and then he was fine. I dosed him with tylenol and he slept all day long.

We are ditching poor little Luca this weekend to catch some music in Austin on Saturday. He will be in good hands for the 24 hours we are gone. I am so excited to boogie down to some widespread panic and almost feel guilty for not feeling more guilty about leaving Luca. Almost Happy mommy = happy baby, remember?
