Storks and Strollers
Stork bite: a common type of birthmark seen in a newborn. It is most often temporary. It may become darker when the child cries or room temperature changes.
This stork bite my baby. Apparently this happened before he was born. I am not really sure how she got past me – sneaky little b. This mark on Luca’s forehead is supposed to pretty much vanish by the time he is 2 but, as the doc told me, will still show up from time to time when he gets really angry! It has actually gotten lighter since he was born, but it def. shows up when he gets mad. It’s kind of like a permanent mood ring. Well, the stork bite has been bright red for the past two days indicating a high level of pissiness in my son. Never much of a crier, Luca has now found his voice! I think he may not be feeling well, poor little bug. Possibly a little cold or a tooth trying to break through. Or he is just having some bad days like we all do. Regardless, we spent 20 minutes last night and 20 this morning pushing him around the dining room table in his stroller. Around and around and around. It really knocks him out. It really makes me want to barf. But, hey whatever works. Regardless of his mood – he is always cute as a button!

It’s really hard to get some of these shots of Luca. 9 times out of 10 he comes out with the “whatchu talkin about willis” face (see below)
Still pretty darn cute if you ask me:)
